Bad Ass Bosses – Midlands Edition

Last year, Hooray held an incredibly successful workshop at Talloula called Bad Ass Bosses. We had 50 entrepreneurs join us for a day of good food, gorgeous decor and powerful and thoughtful information. The workshop was a sell-out and we knew at the time that we would be hosting another.

And here it is!!

This time we are taking it up to the Midlands at the award winning Crystal Barn Country Estate, where will be hosting a 2 day workshop presented by 3 of Durban’s most loved and respected business leaders as well as our accounting guru. All 4 of our speakers have extensive knowledge in their fields and a passion for uplifting other business owners.

This workshop is NOT exclusive to wedding industry professionals. In fact, none of the four speakers work within the wedding industry themselves. We are a pair of wedding photographers and bloggers, but the areas of business that will be covered in this workshop apply to all of us who run our own businesses – from artists to accountants to consultants. In most cases, your skill (the actual thing you sell or offer to clients) is where your expertise lies, but once you are running your own company you will realise quickly that there might be gaps in your skill set that could be holding your business back from reaching its fullest potential. What with hashtags and geotags, SEO and re-marketing – it’s difficult to keep up.

The workshop will run from 9am-5pm on Tuesday, followed by hot chocolate and sherry by the dam and a whole lot of chatter. Attendees are then treated to a warm delicious meal at the Crystal Barn restaurant.  The event will resume the following morning at 7am with yoga by the lake and breakfast at the restaurant. We will be wrapping up at noon. All tea&coffee, meals and activities will be included. For those requiring accommodation, Crystal Barn has offered a discounted rate and once the rooms are full we have other B&Bs to recommend.
