Ahh, another styled shoot to get your creative juices flowing and your wedding planning kickstarted!
The team behind this shoot really pulled off the most whimsical and romantic shoot, proving that blush pink will forever be a wedding favourite. From the cake to the decor, there is something about this shoot that will have you daydreaming of far off places in fairytale dreams.
Spring is such a beautiful time of the year in South Africa. The weather is gorgeous, nature starts blossoming again and the sun starts warming us up after a long winter. This styled shoot beautifully captures this changing of seasons from Winter to Spring.
So if you are thinking of having a Spring wedding in South Africa, then get ready to be blown away by this Ebony Blossom Styled Shoot.
“A collaboration of local talented designers and artists, decor designers & connoisseurs of fine things.
Inspired by the transformation of the burnt winter grasslands bursting into spring with small green sprigs; trees adorned with spring cherry blossoms & a new venue too with the most picturesque mountain vista to inspire.
We look forward to creating many more Etherial Spring Styled Weddings.”
“The two dresses worn by model Emma were inspired by celestial elements and dreamy, old-world faerie tales. These ethereal gowns were designed using the softest and most delicate fabrics to create these delicate silhouettes. Each gown featured intricate beading and embroidery details. Beautifully designed and created by Sadie Bosworth, these dresses were the perfect addition to our Spring Styled Shoot.”
“A trio of macaroons, French vanilla; black sesame & salted caramel, wrapped in a blush wax-sealed ribbon made for a great finishing touch to the table settings. Wedding favours do not always have to be elaborate, expensive gifts for your guests. This trio of macarons added an extra dimension to the table setting while doubling up as the wedding favours – a win, win situation!”
“Handcrafted golden edge agate designed stationery from menu & place cards to a softly marbled spring seating plan was the perfect small & impactful detailed additions. We love how the stationery complimented the theme so magically, proving that wedding stationery is a very important aspect to your wedding day.. something which should not be overlooked or pushed aside.”
“Our Table Decor was inspired by the transition of Winter into Spring. We used a beautiful floral charcoal table runner as the starter canvas for the table to emulate the contrast of the cherry blossom trees against the burnt winter grasslands. We chose modern & varied vessels to place the roses; tulips & ranunculus into creating simple yet bold floral arrangements. A tasseled grass placemat added texture along with the modern gold & white cutlery & beautifully ribboned macaroon favours were the finishing touch to our Ebony Blossom styled table.”
“The Cookin Store is brilliant at keeping up with seasonal trending home brands. Here we feature a few of their beautiful & timeless home pieces that a bridal couple can create a gift registry from. Cookin stocks individually selected, global kitchenware brands that will provide every culinary tool you can possibly dream of, from prep to presentation! If you are looking for a unique gift registry for your wedding, they are your go-to place!”
“A delicious, six-layer Butter & Blossom hand-painted design that added that something extra to the table. Decadent vanilla bean & caramel filling with a Swiss meringue buttercream frosting dusted with gold leaf and adorned with pretty pink florals. Your cake does not have to be a traditional design, you can play with this element of your wedding day.”
So, were we right, or were we RIGHT? We know a beautiful styled shoot when we see one!
