Our Mustard & Pampas styled shoot was inspired by the latest trends we all see on Pinterest every day. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to create something magical with this exceptional colour scheme, transforming a variety of flowers and décor elements into something dreamy in Pronkertjie’s signature style. Pampas grass has soft, fluffy plumes with a beautiful beige to darker brown colour. Whimsical is the first thought that comes to mind when you get to work with them and we fell in love almost instantly!

Mustard yellow is such a rich, beautiful colour and definitely not used often enough by brides. We wanted to show future brides that you can still have that ‘fairy tale’ style wedding so many brides dream of after incorporating a strong, bold colour. In our experience the overall look won’t feel heavy and overbearing if the styling compliments the colour combinations.When pairing a tablecloth or runner in a neutral colour with napkins in your accent colour, a vibrant colour like mustard yellow will really shine and WOW your guests.

We kept the table décor simple and elegant using a selection of gold accents, crystal glassware and modern cutlery. A second napkin, in a rose-inspired pink, was added as a soft and feminine layer to our tablescape to tie the whole look together. Luxury florals like orchids, tulips and imported roses look absolutely beautiful against the natural plumes of pampas grass. We cannot wait to have a bride that falls in-love with this look!
